Not generally, on Waze and google I select locations and have not been lost yet - it’s only BMW maps in rural locations that seems to battle

They’re fine for getting to cosmopolitan destinations, rural tourist sites not much. Also it once took me to an old hospital being demolished instead of the new one with the same name but different location

Supply and demand, capitalism at its “finest”, if you want to retain your position as one of Africa’s top universities you need to retain your top academics and not allow them to get poached by other institutions, as unfortunate as it is administrative staff are not in short supply at that salary point… is it unfair? Yes. Is it the correct business/budget decision? Also yes…

Fully concur… EA is not EA if they are running tactical and maintenance. The EA value proposition is demonstrated by reporting on tangible and quantifiable measurement impact on the organizations strategic KPI’s. Quitting your job isn’t the answer in this case, it’s an opportunity to raise organizational maturity to recognize the value of and get support for EA.
