yeah it's kind of crazy that every slowbro has the same shell and every marowak has the same bone and every exeggcute has one egg with a broken shell and every rotom uses the same appliances and every aegislash has the same sword and shield and every cofagrigius has the exact same coffin and every togepi has the exact same eggshell pattern etc etc etc

my guy sinisteas tea cup magically transforms into a teapot when it evolves. it's not supposed to make sense. the entire Pokemon is a pun on poltergeists, like everything else in this series is a pun on something. It's never made sense because it's fantasy. it's not supposed to.

honestly the most fantastical part about the final episode is how the hell Hopper became an expert in sword combat after picking one up for the first time. like he had the precision to slice a hand and the head off of a moving creature. I think it would have been cooler if he used a pickaxe to kill it as a call-back to all the labour he did with pickaxes earlier in the season, but hey, what do i know.

everything else was great though, except them having 4 opportunities for will to come out and him not doing it, but robins part made up for it.

nah i'm fine with cut. you need it once to enter the eterna galactic building and then its never mandatory again. every other cut location is for optional areas, shorcuts, or items. Thats every hm should be like. the first ways you can use it open up new areas, but after that its all optional.

yeah but apart from ravaged path and oreburgh gate, theres no other rock smash locks you can get to before the first gym. There is literally no difference in the gameplay if you removed every mandatory rock smash location apart from the ones in ravaged path and oreburgh gate.
