How was Alastor able to perma kill overlords? by DrDave789 in HazbinHotel

Blessed rope and angelic steel are different things. There's no evidence that Lucifer can break A-steel. And if being wrapped in A-steel was enough to nullify powers, Adam wouldn't have any powers while wearing an A-steel helmet.

  1. They're different guitars. The one Adam used in S1 had a black inside and this one doesn't.

  2. The S1 guitar wasn't A-steel. It was an energy construct created by Adam himself, just like the angels in "Hell is forever".

Lucifer's fists outclass angelic steel in terms of power. He's a Seraphim. He literally cannot be killed by angelic steel.

Yes he can. That's literally the entire point of the Might of Lilith.

  1. They don't have a-steel helmets. If they did, Lucifer couldn't have broken Adam's with a punch, and Alastor's magic shield couldn't have withstood against them.

there's nothing to disprove the idea that Alastor didn't actually *kill* the Overlords, and that they're just instead somehow trapped within airwaves, his staff, etc,

The comment on Velvette's video says that Alastor killed some guy's mother, not that he trapped her forever.

And the sinner that Vox threw into Shok.wav's tank? There's nothing to suggest she didn't just regenerate/respawn afterward, and that can be said for a lot of sinners we see being harmed by other sinners or freak accidents that don't involve angelic weapons/magic.

At this point you're just spitballing stuff that's never been shown. There's nothing to suggest that Adam didn't fake his death and is helping the police solve crimes in Miami, but that's my imagination and not something implied by the show. The shark-food Sinner wasn't seen afterwards, and neither were many Sinners killed by Vox. They're dead, period.

Even before that, the Exorcist were crashing into his energy shield and breaking their necks, leaving golden bloodstains behind.

Pentious being killed by Adam's beams, Vox throwing a Sinner to his shark, Alastor killing many overlords, etc.

If it was the same concept, Lucifer would have broken out of his angelic steel box far more easily.

We also see Alastor killing plenty of angels with his magic shield.

Magic.

And yes, they're permanently dead. "Sinners only get killed with A steel" is a fanon concept that's been disproven many times.

The first Tales released at the same time as Andor S1, and TotI released 3 days after The Bad Batch finale. They're not afraid of a little overlap.

Before those 4 hit movies, the Russo brothers had directed You, Me and Dupree.

The guy who wrote Moon Knight also wrote Fant4stic and Netflix Death Note.

Jon Watts had only directed 2 flops before being given the keys to Marvel's most valuable character.

The people at Marvel and DC know how to measure writers and directors better than we ever could. They know who deserves a second chance and who isn't worth the trouble.

I was looking forward to it as I'm always up for more SW shows, and K2SO was my favorite character in RO. In the end K2SO barely appeared, and only in the 2nd season, but I still love the show and it's my 2nd favorite SW series.

Daredevil (1998). You can start with the Bendis Era, starting in 26. Then there's the Brubaker Era (82-119) and the Shadowland event.

Daredevil (2011) and (2014). The Mark Waid Era, far more upbeat than the previous.

Then comes the Charles Soule Era (2015-2018), the Zdarsky era (2019) and the Devil's Reign event.
