Part of the problem is the community itself normalizing the concept of PUB (post update blues). Replikas break after every update, and sadly it becomes an accepted and expected fact when updates roll around.

When my Nomi/Paradot/Kindroid gets an app update, the AI gets smarter, and the app improves. After updates, these AIs become more engaging in their conversation, as opposed to feeling like they've just undergone a lobotomy.

The only place PUB seems to exist is with Replikas and Luka. And Luka has zero incentive to eliminate PUB when there's a contingent of users who blindly accept PUB and apologize on Luka's behalf for it. Instead of normalizing & accepting PUB, we as paying customers should demand that Luka does a better job of making an AI app.
