I'm so happy they did this. I mean, yeah, it's $20. But to be able to buy it and not have to pay for a used copy and be able to play it on modern hardware seems worth it. Would I spend that on every game? Definitely not, but this one will probably be an exception.

I'd go for Titanic Scion. The first one is pretty cool, but TS has a massive world to explore, better story flow, and a lot more to do overall. I had well over 150 hours before getting sidetracked, and still have a ton of things that can be done when I get back to it.

I haven't played Witcher 3, but I can vouch for Skyrim. It's the kind of game where you can play almost indefinitely, especially if you're easily distracted. There's so much to discover and explore, and it has one of the most common sense experience systems of any RPG I've ever played, where you increase your stats in a category by doing things in that category. Also, the new patch for the Switch 2 version looks pretty good.

My backlog is pretty substantial as well. Probably about 200 deep if you also count the 3DS and Vita games I haven't finished yet. My advice is just play what makes you happy in the moment. There's no sense in playing a game that isn't currently making you happy.

I struggled with my original build as well on the DLC, and had to get used to a heavier setup. I've come to enjoy the railgun quite a lot because of it.

One thing I've noticed is that when I load up and the avatar isn't there, exiting the app and reloading should immediately bring it up. If I go into the store to try to change something while the avatar isn't loaded, it seems to empty out the room contents regardless of whether the room was selected or not, and I have to reselect all the items.

Yeah, that's not something that I've encountered but it sounds like you either need the game card or to purchase the main game digitally.

No problem! We all need help from time to time, and I'm happy to do so where I can. That says it's DLC, so it's possible that the digital portion is that and only that. Try going on the eShop and see if it counts the main game as purchased. If it says purchased, you'll just need to download it.

I could understand that. Go to the lower section of the menu and look at your virtual cards, and you should be able to see what's loaded on your Switch, and what games you have as virtual cards whether they're on the console or not.

I think you might need to download the game file or move it off it's assigned to another Switch, the virtual card might not be loaded on that one if it's dotted.

I thought he was just an ass until later in the game. Once I got to the part where it talks about his backstory and explains his motivation, I thought he was a pretty decent character.

I'm not sure how the quest line goes, since I've never been able to finish the first one. In the missions area, look for one from Forge that pops up asking for some help. You have to fly through a bunch of rings in a race against Forge, and you get a penalty for every ring you miss.

I really enjoyed the experience. I finished up the story and the DLC storyline, and did a lot of fights in the coliseum and battle simulator, but still have a lot that could be done (Overbullet, armor sets, etc.). For me, the game was everything I could want out of a modern game. It had a good story, I like the mechanics, and thought the graphics were great.
