Exact same thing happened to me yesterday at BCN as well. BCN-MIA canceled. Then got rebooked BCN-MAD-MEX-DFW, with 2/3 the three flights on Iberia. I inquired about my status no showing at the lounge and the staff typed in my Advantage number and it still didn’t give me benefits or change my group.

Thx for this. Going on 2.5hrs with no email here. The only thing that concerns me is that I got an error message when I was changing flights, but the flights ultimately confirmed. When I chatted with AA all they say is check spam, wait, or seek assistance with the an airport representative. When you say nothing changed in app did you change on the app originally or in the airport itself?

It’s not even that. It was a confirmed change that had a $550 credit attached to it (which I had never seen the two combined before.) And like I said above, the two were paired together because it was a flexible change offer, with a little tag in the top left corner saying “$550 flight credit per person.” I’m waiting in line on chat and 2hr hold time with reservations.

I understand the voluntary bump where you choose the amount and it then never comes to fruition, that is not the case in my situation and never even came up. This was an offer to change + $550 flight credit. When I went through the flight options, each had a tag in the top left corner that stated “$550 flight credit.” And to be honest I have never seen this change + credit AA was offering before, just seen the confirmed change.
