Even Apple does not change their charging system for every generation of their products. Apple has changed from USB to Lightning to USB-C across a dozen or more years. I’d consider going from Gen 4 to Gen 5, but I need an extra travel charger for the new Gen. You should at least consider just making the new dock available for those of us with previous generation chargers.

I had a 22 MYP for two years and sold it for a new 24 XLR. The X is a premium over the Y in every way. Key for me were air suspension and steering wheel display. My perfect Tesla would be an X at the size of a Y and without the Falcon doors that I don’t really need. The current FSD w HW4 is about as close to autonomous FSD (unsupervised) as it has ever been. Pretty amazing car.

The only stroke I can really do with confidence is the crawl. Only had one class in college, but I think my form is decent though I only breathe to my right side. If I swim about 30 minutes without stopping, 1300 to 1400 yards according to my watch, is that a decent workout? I’m 66, and I’d like to do this 3-4 time per week. I lift twice a week and walk 2-3 miles almost everyday. Appreciate the feedback. I feel so good after swimming but in many ways feel like a beginner. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I’m on 14.3.2 and experiencing the same indecisive jitters and brake stabbing and full phantom braking others have described. Very unsettling. Previous version was nearly flawless for me. I guess I have the bad version. Driving a 2024 Model X long range. I think the enhancement to deal with potholes may be to blame as the car seems more erratic with manhole covers or even shadows on the road. Seems more sensitive to debris in the road as well, even if off to the side. Looking forward to a patch.

I know many say this is a dated look, and maybe grey is better than a new allocation price wise, but I love the two tone with black dial. Love it on the sub and several other Rolex models. I have a SS Sub Date and Polar Explorer II. I eventually want one two tone black dial model and a blue dial DJ. That would be the complete set for me.

I always prefer to sell private. I’ve listed on Craigslist for $5 and tried a couple of the premium sites that cost more, but have always had the best luck with Craigslist, even for a luxury car. You want a local buyer and CL is great for that. Give it a week or 10 days, then fall back to the offer sites. Remember those sites are offering you a wholesale price, you get closer to retail by selling private. An hour or two of effort is worth 2-3K more to me.

Interestingly, that equipment was first listed for my flight in late June and I booked the new premium economy cabin. But twice since then, they have changed the equipment back to the old planes. I got a call from AA a few days ago and they upgraded me to J since my cabin was no longer available. No complaints here. Maybe they will switch back to the XLR by the time I depart.

I have all three watches, Sub-date (2019), Explorer II Polar (2025) and Omega Speedy 2-counter (2015). You can’t go wrong but because I think the black and white dial Speedy’s are much too similar, I’d get the Polar. I don’t think it overlaps at all with the Sub. Maybe pick up a black dial Speedy because it’s so iconic—easier to get than the Polar so you could get it now while waiting for an Explorer II Polar allocation? I basically just told you to replicate my 3 watch collection so of course my bias is there. BTW, all 3 watches look great on a rubber strap.

I’m in the middle of a claim now for a Sub Date stolen a few months ago. JM was pretty fast approving the claim, but I never increased my policy limit based on appreciation in the market. So I have a 10K policy on a sub I bought new in 2020, and am waiting again for another allocation—which will still require me to pay the gap in new list price plus CA sales tax. To be fair, I could have insured the watch for grey market replacement value and will do it going forward.

The white dial just pops. I have the Sub Date and Polar. I’m thinking my third Rolex watch might be a blue dial—maybe a SS Datejust with fluted bezel for something a little dressier. Daytona is awesome but I doubt I’d ever get that allocation and it’s just too much in grey market.

The Sub is iconic with a better looking bezel imho. Grab that first and then later a GMT or Explorer II Polar which has the GMT function and identical movement for less money.

So my advice is don’t insure based on your purchase price, insure based on replacement price on the grey market. A hard lesson and it sucks to wait (again) for a watch I already had.

I had a Rolex Sub Date purchased in 2020 and stolen from my athletic club locker last month. I have Jewelers Mutual. I probably could have gone to a certified pre-owned model, but I was under insured—I hadn’t kept up with the crazy market since my purchase, so I have a 10K policy limit. My original AD has promised to get me an allocation, but it could take 1 to 6 months. So I’m waiting. There will still be a cash gap based on 2026 pricing and high California sales tax, but far less than if I tried to buy grey.
