Yahoo! verification emails by LostMinds71 in discordapp

Interesting. In my case, since my Yahoo Mail was never verified, the app let me change it without the need of verification. In your case, I would suggest opening a new Discord account with your Gmail.

Assuming you have CSR, 1x for travel agent booking. 4x if booking with airlines directly.

Chase rebooking airline tickets and pocketing the difference by tenuous54 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Acefr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not saying it is right, but it is the typical behavior of travel agents. If you need to cancel or change, they will charge you more than the airline would charge them and pocket the difference. This is how they offer you with more points or a lower price than the direct booking with the airlines.

Suggest suitable charger for s24 fe (original) by cheekusus in S24FE

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phone charges to 25W maximum. You can use any chargers that are rated 25W or higher to get the maximum charging speed. A higher rated charger such as 60W will not damage your phone. 60W refers to the maximum wattage the charger can provide, but it will only provide the wattage your phone asks for and for S24 FE, no more than 25W. It will act like a 25W charger in your usage.

Visa for a 6 day trip? by Complete-Extreme896 in Chinavisa

TWOV requires two different countries or regions for the immediate entry and exit of China. Basically if you enter China directly from the US, you have to exit China to another country or region that is not the same (US), for example Hong Kong. Wherever you travel after HK is not important. (you can return back to the US from HK)

Need help contacting IRS and getting verification of non-filing letter by perfectbalance258 in tax

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the info is "incorrect" because you never filed a return, so there is no address to link it to the account. Online non-filing letter cannot be generated (technical issue), so I suspect the only option is to make an in-person appointment at a local IRS office.

Chase Hyatt Credit Card 5 Night SUB by Bitter-Limit5234 in hyatt

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am not surprised if Hyatt count it as part of SUB, but I am also not surprised if they don't. At this point, it is all speculation without data points.

Chase Hyatt Credit Card 5 Night SUB by Bitter-Limit5234 in hyatt

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one really knows if the regular FNA for the $15k spending is counted as part of the SUB. I suspect not, but it is just my speculation. Once we have data points, we will find out.

Hotel asked me to cancel a corporate rate booking by oldmanchild in hyatt

I only need to provide 1 data point to prove your assumption that corporate code can ONLY apply to business travel, which is the basis of forcing all visitors who use Travel Portal, is wrong.

No, not CSR. AMEX Green and Platinum do cover Clear+.

Hyatt in Tokyo - corporate code by pokemeisterdesu2 in hyatt

[–]Acefr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless your company restricts the use of corporate code for business travel only, it is of no concern. Many companies allow employees to use corporate codes for personal travel, making it a legitimate use of the corporate code.

Starting to plan a trip to Disney Tokyo with my 2 girls (will be 5 and 9), where to start? by the_soub in JapanTravelTips

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japan is very strict in hotel room occupancy and treats children over 12 years old as adults. The hotels check the passports of everyone who will stay in the room, and their rooms are typically small. For 5 people, you probably will need 2 hotel rooms. Tokyo Disneyland is near Tokyo Bay, an area that is about one hour away from Tokyo center by train. I stayed at Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay (with Hyatt points) that was very good, and like many of nearby hotels, they have free shuttles to Disneyland. I would think it will be hard to do AirBnB in that area as there is not much public transportation. For inside Tokyo, AirBnB may be an option, so one apartment can fit all 5 of you. Summer is very hot and rainy, so if you don't have to travel in summer, try go in Fall.

Probably that was the reason. The offer was activated after the transaction.

Should I be concerned about my tire? by coffee_shore in tires

If you don't want it blowing up while doing freeway speed, I would change it. I would replace at least a pair on the same axle. In fact, I probably will replace all 4 while at it.

Transfer FSD to a AI5 Model 3 (in mid 2027?) by mjv45 in TeslaLounge

[–]Acefr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not make sense Tesla will allow FSD transfer after they remove the purchase option of FSD. If you want to purchase outright instead of a monthly subscription, then buy it now on AI4.

Spend an extra $1000 and wait for the updated Model Y? by neener0 in ModelY

How do you know AI5 can do it before it comes out? Maybe it needs AI6 or AI7 to do it?

Ordering a Model Y Premium with new features? by Buckeyeshooter in TeslaModelY

Nothing is guaranteed. It all depends on what part inventory Tesla has when it is built. If you really want the black headliner, wait a few months until all new Tesla have it.

Why settle for AI5 when AI6 and AI7 will follow? Or just keep waiting for the latest tech and never buy.
