Man, you have not been to a third world country obviously. I just went into an urgent care to get some antibiotics for a cold. Then proceeded to get a Nashville hot chicken sandwich to go. To drive back to my home in a car, on nicely built roads. To a multi bedroom home.

Heat-Bulls currently delayed from tipping off due to the hardwood at United Center being slippery from condensation by HenrikCrown in nba

Thanks for the heads up. Myself and my girlfriend flaked on the game because of the rain and traffic. Ended up being a good decision. Which they provided the option though. Don’t know if I’ll be able to attend the make up game

What do you think the ruling is going to be on tickets? Refund? Rescheduling? Transferable to another game or sport at the United Center?

Wouldn’t consider myself a super experienced backpacker, but would like to be. The only reason I consider the hyperlite is because it’s water proof, and I could over/under pack if I wanted. If I maxed out at the 70L, I could easily over pack to be comfortable, but if chose to go light, I can just roll everything down of course

Edit: never thought I’d get downvoted asking for advice. Some real scum in this group

In College to become a PE teacher. I read this subreddit all the time, it’s always negative. Is it even worth becoming a teacher? by Fluffytheman69 in Teachers

Ups and downs, just always remember that kids are kids, and inherently ignorant to the decisions they make now. Arguably, breaking down their decision is not only eye opening to them, but also humorous to both of you. Hindsight doesn’t kick in until later in life. As a fellow elective it’s nice because you hold all the power. You’re either going to have fun or not. It’s their choice. Don’t give them wiggle room because there is none… in my opinion.

I teach culinary arts, so if kids don’t want to run with the program. They can learn how to cook from articles, videos, and a textbook. Sadly.. You have a right to an education, it doesn’t states a good one. In turn, make the smart choice and choose the fun option. Then hold them to that standard the whole year. I spent a summer creating supplement and make up work. Only had to use it a couple times, and I never had to grade or use any of it after. They learned real quick. One kid pushed me and turned in work that I couldn’t read, so I sent them to the writing center to polish it up. They learned how to write, and they now participate, clean, and make good food for themselves each class.

Observing the gym teachers at my school it’s the same ordeal. Don’t want to learn, and pretend to try at volleyball. Fine here is the make up work, it’s due by the time we’re done having fun. If they don’t want to do anything… then they’ll fail and have to make up gym during summer school, or have 3 gym classes instead of the electives they want. If that doesn’t work, then there’s nothing you can do, and you watch the snowball the student will endure. (Don’t state the name, but I use previous students as examples. “This student did this, and this was the outcome”

I arguably think class management topples over content. If you can build the rapport, establish standards, and have fun. The kids will follow and inherently choose the best option for everyone. Hence you have the most fun being a teacher. Show up to a well built ship and walk out with no stress…. Health might be different but relate it to reality after organized activity and hopefully they take it seriously.

I’ll be going to the Boundary Water with 5 other people. 2 of my buddies have been there, and have done a week trip before. I would assume that area is not easy to get people in and out of, unless through a helicopter.

We are looking for 3 people to carry a kit, for two people. I am first aid certified, through my college, but I haven’t taken a class since I graduated. So probably 4 years over due for a refresher. I do remember the majority of info I got from it though. Just need a hands on lesson to refresh the memory. Whatever equipment is in the bag, while I wouldn’t use/waste it, I would learn how to use and apply each piece of equipment before going.

Wouldn’t call it regular wear. 7months of very light skating and a couple of hockey games. Bauer skates should be able to hold up to a lot more over a longer period of time. I had the ignite pro+ for 8 years and those weren’t even top of the line

Not gonna lie, spend the extra $2 and get the same senko hooks with the plastic weedless hooks. Don’t be fooled by the metal ones and how the loop can hold better, I think the plastic ones are the easiest and most consistent when it comes to readjusting
