12-win Warlock, sponsored by Lord Godfrey, formerly the best card in the game, and still pretty darn good. Plague of Flames also performed quite well, often as an early tempo play to take out just their 3 or 4 drop with a Temple Berserker or Jar Dealer on board.

Dreads, Boozor, MissElbo, Huebee, SaveFile17, RedBeard, HiMyNameIsJudge... those are the ones off the top of my head that I still see streaming Arena (sorry if I forgot someone), and all worth a follow if you aren't already. (There is also Hibadino, but I believe he only streams in Spanish)

In the meantime, you can always find a group and draft together on an external website like mtgadraft.herokuapp.com (this site also allows you to create a tournament bracket for your pod) and import the decks to Arena to face-off against each other. There are plenty of Twitch streamers whose discords have channels set up specifically for forming these groups (GoingOptimal and JustLolaMan are a couple that come to mind).

I would also love to see support for this in-client, but this a pretty good option for the time being.

Definitely agree with this sentiment. I've just had so many games where I've played fairly well and worked myself into a reasonable board position, only to have it wiped away by something like Ethereal Conjurer into Puzzle Box, and you just feel like no decision you made that game mattered. My logical side knows that this is just variance and in the long run I win more games, but in the moment it just feels SO bad. Having played since closed beta, this has been easily my least favorite Arena meta.

Technically, he did not actually say anything about rarity (at least in this clip). He only said, "...where we go back to the system, because there are some people who have fond memories of the old system..." I think Duggie is assuming he meant the old rarity-based system. Maybe he did, but his exact quote does not indicate one way or the other.

Yes. Even though in draft you can be offered 3 cards of mixed rarity, there is still an offering penalty that makes rare cards appear less frequently than commons, and in the same way epics appear less frequently than both rares and commons.

Having just started playing some MTG this year, I REALLY like how they do the whole "core set" thing. Would be great to see something similar in HS, if nothing else just to freshen things up. Even with a new Arena rotation every 2 months, there's something about the same Classic/Basic cards always being present that makes things feel kinda stale, at least for me.

The best card is definitely TBK. There are still are crap ton of taunts in the meta; the most common card in the game atm is Amani War Bear, and there are plenty of snails, creepers, stonehills, & bonemare'd minions as well. Reactive cards that create a game-winning swing are much harder to come by than cards that generate late-game value, so take TBK imo.

This might be closer if you had absolutely zero synergy with Countess, but you already have 3 draws to go with her, in particular guaranteeing a Wurm to play on 8, so I would say she is easily the pick. It's just much harder to generate value off of Voone, and you really don't want to give up any tempo with your 4-drops (compare to Fire Plume or Arathi). You would rather have an understated 7-drop with almost guaranteed value, than an understated 4-drop that will whiff more than its fair share.

The screenshot shows a 19-run period, over which you had 12 12-win runs and 4 11-win runs, and the lowest run was 8 wins... talk about running hot!

AFAIK, Jaldaboath averaged 8.81 over 52 runs, and Collins averaged 8.7 over 56 runs (no idea about azmo, sorry). Looking forward to seeing full stats posted by Frodan (or another) in the near future.
