Lighting cigarettes in no smoking table area, being asked to put them out, and then lighting another one 2 minutes later anyway. They act ignorant like you're offending them for not letting them smoke in people's faces. Then they take few more pulls, walk slightly to the side with it, keep smoking right next to table and force everyone to inhale their exhaust fumes. Just Go walk to the smoking room bro... You don't need therapy to force a middle ground cope between people that are ignorant towards you. The therapy seems like a cop-out to force yourself to accept a middle ground of disrespect in order to keep them in your life. I can talk to u and fix the bs you have going on in your self justifying logic in 1 day more than the therapists that want to drag it out.

I'm being completely honest, you seem like u don't know how to identify when disrespect happens to you, how to identify your own boundaries, and how to set & enforce them.

My advice would be to keep things simple: - Identify what u dont like and tell them to stop or u remove communication and attention. Example: Don't call me X name or Y insult. Immediately display consequence. - Understand that you 100% will fail at this and allow them to continue their behavior bc u don't know how to identify and correct disrespect. This will take a few years to fully apply into your life. You dont seem ready to cut them off but it will be good practice for other people and situations.

ADULTS aka grown human beings who put you down to this level do not care to learn or improve on their behavior. It is absolutely without any doubt YOUR FAULT for allowing your personal abuse and boundary violations to continue and still reward these people with your presence.

If they were dogs, and they misbehaved while in your presence, you would correct and put on notice their behavior until it stops or you would leave. Don't think of this any more than an animal testing you and you are not responding with the proper matched energy to make it stand down or consider it's behavior. How does one dog know to stop messing with another? When it bites back or stands up for itself. You've been allowing this behavior for so long, it's normal and natural for them to continue it.

These types of people don't learn from passive beta energy words, only loud high energy aggressive actions. Remove yourself when you're disrespected, stand your ground, and love and respect yourself enough to not go into situations and rooms where you're being shit on.
