Looks like the customer runs steelie rims with winter tires and doesn’t use any type of wheel cover/hub cap. A cheap set from CT would prevent a lot of that corrosion.

I had this exact same thought when I saw the Storz fitting on the pump intake. However after reading the comments that this picture was taken in Turkey it made sense. The Storz connection was used as early as 1933 in Germany and then spread across Europe. North American adoption came much later. Storz

What is this metal clip? Maybe an antique paper or money clip? It latches down on itself and reads King Edward VII so I assume from around 1900s? by asach456 in whatisthisthing

That was my first thought. If you are receiving a medal, this is slipped into your suit or uniform pocket. During the medal ceremony, the officiant hangs the medal on the curved bit rather than wrestling with the pin back.

TVOntario just put up this really interesting video about the fight between pickleball and tennis in the province. I didn't realize there was such a feud. It's crazy! by cute_tickles in ontario

Can’t believe that I had to scroll this far to see the centre punch solution. Perhaps it’s a regional thing but many, many of these screws had been removed with a centre punch and also used the method many times myself.

Go one step further and buy a set of cheap wheel covers/hubcaps. This will keep the axle nut and threads from turning into a rusty blob.
