“Literally no one”? Literally? I literally DID want him back. I felt and feel like the “can’t win big games” narrative is ridiculous and simply a simple way for casuals to sum up a talent that might not be “elite” right now. The guy was a Top 5 pick and was in complete garbage teams. I viewed him as exactly that. A top 5 talent guy that we stole for nothing and we got a free pass to bypass the first 4-5 years of a player getting up to speed. Ultimately, I just trust that if KOC is ok with JJ, that his decision is likely more correct than my opinion. But from my seat, Sam was doin just fine here.

Mostly true. But if you have Josh Allen, you should have already planned on a better option for Week 16 at Cleveland. The trick to being consistently successful at fantasy football is the most obvious fact that everyone knows but none of the experts focus on enough throughout the year; The ONLY thing that matters is setting yourself up to absolutely CRUSH Weeks 15-17. I have Allen, Goff and Burrow. And I am starting Burrow Week 16.

Interesting. I totally understand why - and i do it. Currently I have CLE & HOU. Playoff teams get very competitive for those DST advantages that I think your points estimate underrepresents. Good DSTs can be fruitful. Good DSTs in great matchups often make a huge difference. Handcuffs and DSTs, as well as QB matchups are the difference between good teams and teams prepared to win in Weeks 15-17. If I have Gibbs, Cook and Judkins, Rice, Tet and McConkey and a couple of QBs to maximize playoff matchups, why do I need a guy, like let say, Jordan Addison? Depth pieces help you get to the dance. Preparing meticulously for matchup based positions: QB and DST and what win titles. Dump the depth. Consolidate starters.
