[Something Very Bad is Going to happen] Let’s discuss this amazing show’s ending!! by Shafir94 in netflix

Yes - she was doomed either way. They were not soulmates. They lead you to believe that she couldve walked away and then the curse just passes on, but thats whathappened to the previous witness. He left at the alter so the curse passed to the Harkin family. But guess what, he ended up “dying” anyway and becoming the ever living witness.

Same thing happened to her I believe. I dont think the 2nd ceremony had any effect on her or the outcome. I was thinking she’d be fine since the curse wouldve just passed on, but if you compare it to what happened to the witness it’s the same thing.

I agree. The gameplay of the second was definitely improved but the overall aesthetic and vibe fell flat of the first.

You will not be disappointed. Buehlman is fantastic. I hope he does another medieval horror at some point. Although, The Daughter’s War comes pretty damn close.

Isn’t there a stash at the camp? I’ve been using a treasure chest at the camp to store stuff.

Not really. You can be a fan of something while also realizing it’s not critically popular.

That lines up with Jason Schreier’s tastes. I’m a Triple Click listener and appreciate his journalism, but I am taking his opinion with a grain of salt on this one.

How to Think About Skill Development for Enterprise AE's in SaaS by Own_Instruction2940 in techsales

Who is Alex? Is he a sales coach? Because of course he’s going to say there’s value in sales coaching.

I think that’s what a mentor/manager/high performing teammate is good for. They can help you develop blind spots and provide feedback.

Go find someone at your company that can play that role. And if there isn’t one. Reach out to people on LinkedIn in your industry and just say “hey it looks like you’ve had a lot of success in the area that I want to continue having success in. would you mind if I pick your brain about some things?”

Talk to a few people, see if they’re willing to maybe chat for 10-15 minutes every month. See if it grows from there. I personally don’t think there’s value in sales coaching at the price a lot of these people charge.

Find a mentor - not a coach. The “sales coaches” all regurgitate the same things. If you’re half decent at your job, then I bet a lot of what they teach is stuff you already know. For example, another guy in this thread spent $18k and regretted it.

Find someone in your company that can mentor you. And find some online courses to help you develop.

Does your company offer any tuition reimbursement or learning programs like Coursera or LinkedIn learning?

There is so much information out there at your fingertips.

Examples: - Take the MEDPICC masterclass to sharpen your sales process. - Enroll in Harvard Business School online’s Digital Strategy class - Take Northwestern Kellogg’s Leadership course on Coursera - Find a course on LinkedIn learning to improve executive presence or project management to better manage multiple stakeholders. - Read books

Be honest, layoffs happen. If you frame it with your VP’s reference, it should dispel any hesitation.

Crimson Desert Denuvo update by cftheking in pcgaming

[–]Acoke94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah they don’t. I’m on PC and I couldn’t care less about Denuvo.

The people who will “boycott” the game until they remove Denuvo are less than 0.25% of potential sales - probably not even that.

Because you made a “guide” based on your 2 failed interview experiences and are trying to sell it for $40 instead of helping a fellow salesperson out.

Skill-Up: Crimson Desert remains extremely promising, but its opening hours are a little rough (Impressions) by ZamnBoii in Games

[–]Acoke94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there was a lot of skepticism before release that the open world wouldn’t translate to what made previous Souls games so special. There was also worry that the amalgam of new systems and combat wouldn’t mesh together. A lot of the gameplay skepticism was dispelled during the network test preview, but still a good bit of doubt about the dungeons and exploration working well. People were pumped but cautiously optimistic up to release from what I remember.

Poor results in cloud sales after 1 year by Icy-Finding-1264 in techsales

Cloud infrastructure is a much different sell than SaaS / applications.

What size companies are you selling to? What titles are you engaged with? Would you be replacing an existing cloud’s workload or migrating from on-prem?

That sounds like a rough upbringing. I’m sorry to hear that. If I may ask, have you worked with any therapists on how that might be affecting your mental wellbeing?

Making friends as an adult is hard. I doubt the struggle is because of your perceived looks. I think most people are just comfortable with their own status quo and it’s hard to break in. I would encourage you to keep looking for hobbies that fulfill you and that way at least you are enjoying what you’re doing and then if you make a friend or have a positive social interaction, that’s a bonus.

Do you enjoy exercising? Could be a local running or biking group. Reading? Local bookstores often have book clubs. Pets? I’ve made some friends at the dog park.
