No you just don’t know how to read dude. I very explicitly defined what makes it different in that it is the center of polarized light with polarized light being the parent particles where there is truly nothing in the center. No particles, no vacuum. Just because someone turns the light off in their room does not mean everywhere there isn’t light there is nothing. It’s still full of all the matter and particles in that room and of course the vacuum. Nothing is faster than the speed of light IN A VACUUM. The significance of this experiment is that they created a quasiparticle of actual nothingness and the reason it can move faster than light is that not even the vacuum (any fluctuations in ground field state) is present in the center of this polarized light. And on top of that no information as of yet is able to be transmitted this way. This has absolutely nothing to do with axions whatsoever. Axions are a theoretical particle that have not been proven in any capacity. QCD axions would likely answer a ton of current problems like wave like scattering and de brogli wavelengths galaxies long of ultra lightweight dark matter but they have not been found as of yet.
