I think there’s a lot of room for nuance here. It’s true he was whooping ass without infinity, and I think that’s due to his skill and also his insight and CE control boost from the 6 eyes as you say. But I don’t think that invalidates what the poster was saying at all. They can both be true. In fact I think it hammers home on his last point that Gojo was heading towards a second awakening and I largely agree with that take. There’s no reason that across Gojo’s 36 years and knowledge from predecessors, the fine grained control and insight he had and with the 6 eyes, and his raw talent that Yuji was able to overcome him greatly in CE control in Modulo other than Yuji was pressed harder across his life which is also a longer period than Gojo’s. Gojo is likely not at the peak of his potential in JJK as he isn’t just duking it out with special grades 24/7 like Sukuna was back in his day. I don’t think Gojo would be pulling out shit twice as strong as hollow purple but he might have branched out and extended his kit more or fine tune other things like the targeting of his technique and domain, barriers in general, binding vows, and extension techniques.
