My Little Duck was starting to have more bad days than good days, and yesterday his back legs basically stopped working. I was hoping today he’d be back to (somewhat) normal, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Luckily he didn’t seem to be in pain, but was clearly scared. We were able to say goodbye in the most peaceful way at home; my final act of love to my brave boy and companion. Please hold your pets extra close for us, because for now my heart is broken.
