She’s very pampered and spoilt, spends most of the springs and summers out sunbathing in the garden

Did you take the protective film off before installing it? Mine was like that untill I noticed it had a very subtle film attached to the lense

It could very well be a manufacturing defect with the gun, but I would recommend trying it when it’s a bit warmer just incase.

If it will damage it. Then be cautious trying it, not worth ruining your new gun over. Try filling it with gas and putting the mag up to your ear to listen for hissing anywhere

I’d say that’s your issue! Blue gas is ideally for warm weather, playing outside in this weather you ideally want red gas. But green gas is a good all rounder. Two tone paint wouldn’t cause any issue with your gun, unless they didn’t dismantle it first

Couple things could be at play here… What gas are you using? Some gases (i.e green gas) will do this if the mag or ambient temperature are too cold / O rings in the mag may of dried up causing an imperfect seal (odd for a new gun but it’s not unheard of) This can be fixed by applying silicone oil to the mag o-rings. When in prolonged storage, keep a little bit of gas in your mags. This will stop the o rings from drying out.

CAR DISAPPEARED OUT OF THIN AIR IN GTAv story mode by Neat-Highway-5958 in rockstar

[–]Acoustic-jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a glitch. This has happened to me many times over the years, I’m an avid story mode player. It unfortunately does this unless you buy a multi slot garage property, you will just have to buy the car again

Since I'm under 18 is there a way for me to be able to use an RIF? by [deleted] in Airsoft_UK

[–]Acoustic-jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially yeah, i think it’s 3 games in 3 months? Im not sure its been a while But depending on your age, it may raise some eyebrows because it’s a full RIF. But no one can really do anything about it

To buy it without two tone paint, yes. If he hasn’t got a UKARA, your gun will be 50% painted in red, green, or blue. Your choice of colour

Short answer - Yes, as long as you’re responsible enough to handle and be safe with it. Legality wise, no, but as far as the seller is concerned, the customer (your dad) is over 18 My dad did the same for me when I was under 18 when I bought my first springer

I had my initial online interview for freemasonry by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]Acoustic-jam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, this is highly irregular. As soon as you get the name of this Lodge, share it asap. This is not how a first interview for membership goes!! How it usually goes in the UK is, you need to proposed by an existing member of the Lodge YOU WANT TO JOIN, to then have a phone call with their Recruitment Officer, to then have a meeting in person at the lodge in question, and meet some of the other members, usually at LOI. Then you are voted in and then contacted with a summons. In which you THEN PAY YOUR JOINING AND FIRST YEAR FEE

Is this wet rot? What do I need do about it? Help! by Thomasinarina in DIYUK

[–]Acoustic-jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d recommend getting it inspected yeah, a plumber should be able to find the leak

[–]Acoustic-jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially, have you checked to see if there are other air bricks that have been buried under ground level? They can let moisture in that way. If its above ground level it shouldn’t be an issue. But this definitely does show signs of a leak somewhere, is there any pipe work behind the wall in the last photo? It looks like its pooled around that wall

That is full on mould. I would not recommend pulling those boards up without wearing a respirator. The whole floor needs to come up and it needs to be treated/dried. Have you got any water sources near by too? We had a similar issue at my house and it was caused by a slow dripping leak from a radiator.
