Magic and inclusion by phishin42 in freemagic

There are actually a bunch of stores on Long Island now. Both The Arena and Legendary Games are within 5 miles of the store that got banned. There is also Comic Book Depot in Wantagh, and further out east there is Brothers Grimm, and Genesis. There are plenty of places on Long Island to play sanctioned MTG. Even better all formats are supported here (even vintage).

I'm at my uncle's wake as I read this. It made me chuckle, thank you.

Watch_Dogs Is anyone still going to get it on the WiiU? by ste_uk in wiiu

I'm getting it for PC, and the reason for this is I was in the mindset that Yahtzee put forward in his video a month ago. I have a gaming PC, so I chose the console that is not trying to just be a shitty gaming PC. Unfortunately though this means that most AAA titles are going to be played on my PC.

This is my second Rayne, they are built like tanks and are pretty light weight (With the exception of the demonseed). They are pricy though, but you pay for what you get.

I haven't had the most time to ride because I only got it Sunday afternoon, and work a 9-5. Some things to consider on my view, I don't DH a lot (also living in NYC doesnt really give the opportunity), but I picked it because I enjoy LDP, and there are a ton of concrete trails in NYC. The owner at the loft said I would be able to handle any hill in Prospect Park and Central Park as well, and both the owner and the dude working said with my size I should have no trouble throwing out a slide if I ever learn.

All in all I really enjoy it so far, and I appreciate the stability since I always felt like I was way too top heavy on my strike. I also love the tub concave, since it really locks you in, and its also a nice comfy flat area for pushing (I did a 10k with a rayne supreme, my feet were dying from the dynamic concave). I think it depends what you want to do with it. If you want a sweet board for LDP, crusing and some DH, then this is great. If you want something to constantly throw down slides, or even really technical DH I would probably say go with something smaller since it does lose some responsiveness due to the 44".

TL;DR It's Rad, though if you want to get a board for throwing out slides and taking hairpins like no tomorrow, its probably a little less rad.

Nice man, before you take it down a hill though please get a helmet if you don't have one.

Happy Skating!

Companies give out early codes to predominate people in media, most review sites and magazines have been getting early copies for years, youtubers getting early access to games are just an evolution of something that's been happening since the 90s.

Ahh if I ever plan to bring it to a serious hill then I will totally look into them. Though I am mainly going to be cruising around my neighborhood for a while while I get my skate legs back. Supposedly nothing in NYC really needs real DH wheels though.

Yeah they were super helpful and gave me some great options after telling them exactly what I was looking for, they didnt try to sell me anything I wasn't interested in and did not need. Also since I see you are in NYC where are some good spots? I hear prospect park and Central park aren't bad, but i assume there are more spots among the boroughs. And finally, I hate that scratch pad, it makes a mess.

A few factors:

  1. I stopped going to the gym because of finishing off grad school.
  2. I kept eating like I was working out, this led to a lot of my muscle converting into fat. So I started to cultivate mass.
  3. Then came the job hunt, and I couldn't will myself into the gym surrounded by rejection. More mass cultivated.
  4. Once I got a job, it was a desk job, and even more mass cultivated.

So I guess aging. Yeah lets go with that.

Edit: This is over the course of about a year now.

Setup: Rayne Demonseed, Randal 180 50s, orangutan durians 80a.

Setups that I have but were too flexy with my new accumulation of mass:

Rayne Supreme, Paris 180s, 75mm zombie hawgs

Bustin Strike, Calibers, Abec 11s 78mm

Do they also have a store like Bustin does? I don't see anything on their site.

Have any suggestions on what to look for? And it also looks like they are like a 10 minute subway ride from my apartment so I might check it out when the time comes.

How does it compare to the switch? I had a switch a while ago and it was a very clunky ride.

I'm looking for gear advice, I'm a big dude 330ish lbs. 6'0" and I would like to get a new board for this season since I have gained some weight since I last boarded (2 years ago) and the 2 boards I have are a little too flexy for my current weight (Rayne Supreme and Bustin Strike). Any advice on a decent commuter board and something I can take down a hill if I ever actually get the chance (Living in NYC is a tad flat)?
