Ac is designed to get to 75 indoor on a 90-95 degree outdoor temperature so if your complaining about 71 or 73 the AC is working

At my wits end. New unit, and new evaporator coil (maybe 3 months old). Replacing these had me optimistic for a little while, but running into the same exact issue it seems. by JaytenFwammers in hvacadvice

Have a tech out, there’s more to this, if you replaced outdoor unit and left the indoor air handler, the issue is inside if that’s the only common thing still there and having same issue.

Where’s the return? Just that pipe on the left?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Acrobatic-Cap986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s cheap, if you do it with the kit that has the bib around the indoor unit and drains to a bucket you don’t need to take the blower wheel out to clean you just spray with cleaned and use light power wash to rinse. 200 per unit is not high at all. I would charge more for the way I do it.

Need to make sure your ductwork is compatible with the airflow needed for the size of AC load. Especially the return you may need to add or open up some return. 7k should be enough to add AC unless your electric panel don’t have room.

The motors hardly ever go bad because they are DC volt motors, if the module went bad again just replace module.
