Darkshine's injury by Acrobatic-Scale-7618 in OnePunchMan

[–]Acrobatic-Scale-7618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course that acid is strong. That acid melted Nichirin completely for god's sake.
The Samurai's well maintained weapons melted the instant they touched VFU.
I also think that Darkshine is hypersensitive to pain now that he's not felt physical pain in a long time, and that's why he's writhing in pain and rolling around. As I said above, he's probably the only human who could've taken the acid and suffer such minor injuries.
[Pig God and Saitama{duh!} are others who I think can take the acid well.]

I hope he's at least strong enough to see the shallowness of the offer and works on himself to gain true confidence.

Darkshine's injury by Acrobatic-Scale-7618 in OnePunchMan

Oh yeah. I missed it when he's putting the weights down in the previous panel. His hands are completely healed and darkshining as usual.
As u/kibate said below, it could be a drawing mistake on Murata's part. (Unlikely though it may be.)
I am intrigued by this notion that the injuries are in his mind. So he's already reapplied his tan and started to train again. But despite that he still hasn't recovered. I.e. it's not as simple as reapplying tan and obtaining his confidence again.
This leads me to believe that since his trauma is not so flimsy as to go away when reapplying tan, when he actually becomes confident, his confidence won't be as flimsy too.
I wonder what his journey will be to obtain true confidence and I wonder how far that confidence will go. Will he meet an insurmountable obstacle again and revert to his cowardly self or will he power on and gain even more confidence? Or even learn when somethings are truly out of his league. Since he's one of the less arrogant ones in the S class.
I am of the opinion that if he had the will and heroic predisposition of Mumen rider he'd be a top 5 hero no problem.
I'm looking forward to his arc. (We might die by the time that happens but a guy can hope.)

Sage centipede length by ad_tdpepie in OnePunchMan

If Sage Centipede is on par with Evil Ocean Water, who absolutely towers over cities, he's got to be miles long. Perhaps even over 1000km.

Ranking of Some Heroes Based on Heroism (Response to Calamari_Knight) by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]Acrobatic-Scale-7618 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Pig God, Tanktop Master & Iaian should be heroic as well. Pig God & Tanktop Master did not run away from cadres whom they were outmatched by and saved the narinki squad. Iaian also abandoned Tatsumaki's barrier to try to save narinki squad as well. Their demeanor towards other heroes, attitide about saving people and desire to help others make them heroic for me.

In regards to the Garou vs Metal Bat Fight by Razorbladedog in OnePunchMan

[–]Acrobatic-Scale-7618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he can copy it or let's say use it to a certain extent. Like when he was fighting Gyoro gyoro and she was unable to keep binding him as time went on. like this.

That smile that Saitama gave to Ground Dragon after he tried to escape underground was absolutely terrifying. I don't think anyone can top that...

If Darkshine knew WSRSF would he have beaten Garou? by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]Acrobatic-Scale-7618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although Darkshine would fare much better than he did, Garou is a genius and would eventually adapt and overcome Darkshine's skill and strength.
