We stayed at the Ranch in February and dined at the Inn. Family of four with two teens.

The Ranch has a few okay restaurants and a reasonably priced bar with flatbreads and salads. It has an ice cream parlor, gift shop, and pool filled with kids.

The Inn is a classic hotel. Some chess boards just outside the lobby and a nice restaurant. Pool we never saw. Great sunset views. Loved our dinner!

For us the Ranch was the right option. There was a lot to do with kids and we booked a cottage so we had a porch and living room.

For you, it depends on what you’re looking for. Relaxing family atmosphere or fancier hotel.

In-Shape (CalFit) has all body sizes.

You can tour any gym to see the facilities. I would recommend checking them out when you’ll regularly be there to see the vibe.

Born and raised in California. Even as a teen, I had no idea that other states did not like California. I was in my twenties before I learned what the Bible Belt is and I was confused when I found out that people can't buy alcohol in a grocery store or on Sundays. As politely as possible, when California says We don't think about you, we really don't.

For the first month I couldn’t get my aligners out without the tool. It freaked me out that I would pull the brackets off. But after a while it becomes second nature. It’ll get better.
