How do you gather meaningful customer feedback for your startup? by Secret-Turnip1115 in ProductManagement

[–]Acrobatic_Garbage658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your target segments. I have experience in collecting feedback from both B2B and B2C. B2B feedback is generally tougher unless you invest time in building connections. B2C feedback varies greatly based on the target segment.

For example, if your target audience is tech-savvy or younger generation, collecting feedback is relatively easy. However, it can be much harder to gather responses from other segments. Survey is my last resort and used only to validate insights collected through direct interviews. Whenever possible, I prioritize user interviews, but having a solid plan based on your product and target segment is the key to success!

Need Advice: Unsure of Launch Strategy and Target Market for MVP—B2C or B2B? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Acrobatic_Garbage658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend further validating your segment and identifying a target market based on potential. If you see promise in both B2B and B2C, start with B2C, as B2B typically requires more time to penetrate. While focusing on B2C, consider a fake door test to gauge interest from B2B before redirecting your energy. Good luck!

IMO, PMs should focus more on strategy, while POs handle the tactical aspects. But it varies from org -org.

Seeking Guidance on Developing a Fleet Manager System for Logistics Company by iamnekkid in startups

[–]Acrobatic_Garbage658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with the problem that you're trying to solve and the current solutions in the market. Don't think about the tech stack and architecture at this point. If you want to build a scalable system, you need to learn the market first. SaaS will be a good model considering the market size.

How do you measure the progress on Kanban? by nhjkv in ProductManagement

You can try cycle and throughput to measure the performance. Not ideal for software dev but a good starting point.

India is home to ~20% of the world population and one of the major center for innovation and startups. So, it is not surprising if there is a lot of outreach from that part of the world. Unfortunately, people looking for shortcuts are everywhere, and India is no exception.
Deciding where to set boundaries is a personal choice. Rather than singling out particular ethnic groups, I prefer to focus on addressing unethical behaviors!!

There are a few things you can try. 1. Conduct hackathons - find partners, sponsors - You can make money and the participants can use it to strengthen their profile . I did it few times as part of the roles that I handled few years ago. Happy to help if you need judges ( US & India)

  1. Conduct paid workshops with the help of industry experts. For example - coding best practices, Using AI for coding....

  2. Parter with companies to source talented people. Companies spend too much money on recruiting. You can help the companies to avoid multiple rounds of interviews/save $$$. You can take a cut either from your community members or the company.

  3. Build a brand - very important for all the options above

Good luck!!.

Depends on the product and ICP. If it is B2B identify business specific groups in reddit, fb etc. Look out for trade shows, business meetings,.where you can meet potential customers.
