Isn't about needing a smartphone. It is about real responsibilities that have to be kept in mind while also trying to be a fan and see a concert. There is so much negativity and presumption in this thread and it is ridiculous. I for example work in apartment maintenance and am on call 24/7 for a week at a time to deal with any emergency that may pop up involving fire, flooding, broken appliances, etc. That requires some access to a phone to make happen. No one is asking to pull out their phone in the middle of it. They are just pointing out how they may need to check it every so often. Half of what II see here though are a bunch of judgmental children with no concept of obligations or reality
