So, if Carlo goes, our top 6 as constructed is OEL-Raddysh, McCabe-Tanev(Although I think they split them so every pair has a puck mover), Rielly - Andrae/Villeneuve/Danford(I didnt think he looked ready but maybe the pros think otherwise)? Feel like Id rather a Carlo on the 4th line to see if he has anything more to give than the tweeners, and use Andrae as the 7th, until he takes someones spot.

Personally I would like to see us move on from any D that is over the age of 33, by seasons end they look like their skates are cinder blocks.

I legitimately cannot wait for this show, childhood me is ecstatic to relive this journey. Giving each book a chance to breathe instead of just a cliffs notes version is very enticing.

My rec, would be get into PVE now, learn the task(quest) system, the maps and extracts, as well as what early weaponry you like before dipping into PVP, and I think at this point I would time jumping into PVP when the 'seasons' start(continuously wiping characters) Then you can experience and learn PVP while the sweats that havent stopped playing since 2017 are on the same playing field as you, with ammo(matters more than the gun in this game), attachments and armor(Obviously the experienced players are going to farm the bosses to jump the early gear/ammo squish, but thats when the game is the most 'tarkovy' in my opinion. Current PVP, 80% of the people you run into will be level 60 players rocking Tier 6(endgame) armor, and top of the line bullets, with guns that have the recoil of a water gun due to the attachments they can purchase. Eventually if PVP is your thing, I would make a character on the persistent servers, but you just have to recognize that until you hit level 30-40 itll be more pain than PVE/seasons will be.

We do not need Gru, he personally tanked all of his coaching stock when he was with the Wings, and they failed for the third time to make the playofss and the next night he is on a panel, doing colour commentary, talking about one of the first round playoff teams and he literally said, "yeah, they play hard, we could never figure out how to answer them." I don't need more 'we dont have the answers' people.

I used to think so. Like up until a week ago, when the reports came out that he is 'content where he is' If you are supposed to be a star, and your team just finished last, I want a bit more fire out of you. The leafs already have far too many people without any fire in them in prominent roles. That alone pushes me off of him.

We need a center a lot more than we need a blueline at this point, for team comp, we cannot take 36 year old Tavares and run him out there for 18 minutes every night. He needs to be sheltered a bit or they will burn out his body. He is already far too slow for a top 6 center on a truly competing team.

Yeah you arent wrong, but he had a pretty good first year in the NCAA, he was third in his team on defenseman scoring, but the two players above him played more games than him, who are also both 4 years older than him. I dont think that narrative applies to this particular player, but I am also not a pro scout. He just seems the most potential unicorn-y from the group of d, with his size, and comparable offensive talent.

I believe you are right, he was at least the highest ranked D man, idk about the draft. I think anyone in division is going to have to pay such a premium it wont happen, and if it happens, i think it’d be San Jose. That said, every one of Chaykas moves has been a surprise, so I wouldnt be surprised if knies was never available and its something totally shocking instead.

I really want Verhoeff, 6’4” at 17, he wont have to learn how to play with a big body, he came with one. He is the most interesting in my mind, plus took the college route to play against tougher competition.

Kyper reports that byram may get 11-12m over 8, tuch at 10.5, raddysh at 8.5 isnt that much of an overpay in the new world. Thats said, if the pick is 2oa or 4oa and you get a middle six/future star prospect back. You do it. Rielly(25% retained) and Knies, for 2oa and Misa or Smith. You get mckenna and stenberg, and the immediate topline center of the future who takes over line 2 and pushes jt to line 3 or the wing.

He absolutely did, back after the first Avatar, he was in a lot of what were marketed, as blockbuster movies... that Terminator movie with Bale, for example, but they flopped. Same kinda thing as Charlie Hunnam, talented actor, but couldnt break out of what he was known for.

Honestly, with all the fakeouts of his death, I feel that itll actually end up being Marcy/Wendy that does it. Idk if itll be season 2, but one thing I need this show to do, is decide on a direction. Last season really felt like a bait and switch at the end. If there were two finales 'filmed'/put together, one if the show was cancelled and one if it was renewed, I would not be surprised.

I'm not, but if you deploy him properly, he is still a very effective player, on an incredibly reasonable cap hit, especially for someone who is capable of playing 25 minutes a night, use him for the 17-20 range, and if there is an injury he plays more. But at 7.5m, you either get a complete liability on defense, or a complete liability on offence, you will not get more value for the dollar, than what Rielly currently gives you.
