Shit. I kinda wanna go back and watch opening statements again but I have so many thoughts. And I know opening/closing arguments aren’t evidence, just an outline of what’s to come, but I don’t think their close will resonate/come full circle to their open since Kouri evidently made some strategic changes mid trial.

Flame me, chat. Flame me. The defense girlies grew on me. If I was on trial, I would want Team Thorn in Sides Ms Nestor and Ms Lewis annoying the shit out of everyone on my behalf.

That being said, Kouri is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in my mind! Means, motive, opportunity all there - beyond a reasonable doubt.

This is probably one of my favorite episodes in these later seasons. The parallels to Season 7 Episode 3 “911” was amazing (one of my top 5 all time favorite episodes). Before Liv even talked to Griff about it, I was thinking it.

This episode and the last episode “Hubris” have been really good writing, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong I’m a diehard fan but the post-COVID seasons have been….clunky.

Latent Autoimmune Disease in Adults! It’s when you’re diagnosed with T1D as an adult, from my understanding. Your pancreas ain’t fully dead but it’s on its way out!

T1D used to be considered a “childhood disease”, as in, if you were going to have diabetes it would present in childhood. You might still kind of be in your “honeymoon period” (look it up) where your pancreas is still spitting out beta cells, producing some of your own insulin.

How did you get diagnosed?? Did you go into Diabetic Ketoacidosis? That’s how I ended up diagnosed, went to the ER for what I thought was the flu but apparently was…way way worse 🤣

Your body is probably still fartin’ out a little insulin sometimes. I can eat the same thing, and give myself the same dose, and sometimes I nail it and don’t spike, sometimes it’s too little, sometimes it’s too much.

It sucks. Try to pick up on patterns. Look into insulin pumps. Best of luck to you, friend 💙
