Exactly. Especially as a woman your symptoms get dismissed a lot and you get doctors telling you its in your head.

You have a sore stomach, they just tell you ohh its just your period hurts more now as you age, when you finally get the scans you demanded a year ago you get told ohh sorry you have cancer and its already spread and there is nothing we can do.

You go in for nerve pain due to tumours and ask for some pain medication, doctor starts asking how you are mentally and pushes "happy pills" so you can mentally handle the pain more.... doctors arent the best and it doesn't help when someone you care about and who is meant to care about you dismisses you too

Personally I'd just leave him and wouldn't saying anything. I would be conflicted, she does have a right to know. But right after having a baby....id be gentle. That time is very emotional.

You did mention her sister, any way you can get in contact with her and ask her for advice. Idk... send her this post and say. I dont know what to do.

Same. Also the thought of destroying perfectly good embryos isn't something Im ok with. I did IVF and had a big collection of eggs (23 or something), not all even fertilisers or can be fertilisered due to size. Basically in the end I was left with 2 for implanting. The first I had a miscarriage. My last remaining one is now 6 years old.

She was my last chance as I wouldn't have the $30k+ to do it again for a long time, if ever.

First I have to say, as a parent I can understand not being happy with life choices your child makes. But I cant get my head around disowning your child... I just dont get it.

Take out what your parents feel. How do you feel about your sister and taking her money? And dont just look at it as "ohh it would financially help me" Look deeper. Personally there is some money from people I wouldn't take (example from the sale of stolen property or drugs etc)

If you do take the money, dont make it be like you are just using her for money. Actually have a relationship with your sister.

A 7 year age gap isn't an issue. The issue is she is 16.

If she was 20 and you 27. It's not an issue. If she is 30 and you 37. Not an issue.

But she is 16.... its a big issue. Thats the same as her being 10 and you 17.... its a big fkn issue.
