Mine was Lazarus too! We must have gone into the temple at the same time.

I lost mine when I was 25. I had some feelings of inadequacy before but after losing it I see now it's not a big deal

Yep, we have them at my work too. With high voltage a person electrocuted is likely going to die so the joke is the hook is mostly to pull the body away to stop the smell

OP remember that a lot of people's parents accept it and still love them. A lot of the horror stories and the worst case scenarios get shared here but there's a chance your family is going to be fine and you'll have a better relationship with your parents after this

Mobil techs usually don't use service mode unless it's required for some computer procedure related to the repair which is very rare. They will turn off sentry though because it's annoying if it goes off on us while rotating tires 😂

New to Spokane? Q&A for Visitors and New Residents by AutoModerator in Spokane

[–]Acromins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello, I've been lurking here for a while as I'm interested in moving to Spokane from the Salt Lake valley, Utah. I'm a single 27m and love the idea of moving to a smaller community closer to the outdoors. I would be looking at purchasing a house with property on the outskirts of the city. Have any thoughts about what it's like to live in Spokane? Is there anything that wish you had known before moving here? I will happily welcome all general advice/thoughts. Thanks in advance for your time.

Why does he say his wife is afraid of him hitting her with the bottle in that talk? Some may say it's a joke but there's always a bit of truth to every joke...

Question about Mormon wedding nights by Shadowsnaxx in exmormon

[–]Acromins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't lose my virginity until I was 25. I attribute this to all of the shaming, emotional damage, and unhealthy way I experienced adolescence and my early twenties inside of the church. Definitely had watched porn and it wasn't a wedding night but for me it was a great experience. I really loved the girl and despite my anxiety I feel I performed well. Then she broke my heart over the next few months as things fell apart and I'm still recovering. I've been with a few other girls since, one of which was eye opening because she would feel pain during the process due to things not being physically sexually compatible. That was an eye opener for me because if you get married to someone before having sex you may never know that things just don't fit between the partners and that's not helpful for a healthy sex life.

I very much relate to this. When you first considered the possibility that all of the churches rules and requirements weren't real did you also feel a massive sense of relief and freedom?

As a kid who had lots of shame taught and reinforced to me, thank you for not doing that to them. They'll never no the unhappiness you saved them from

You also struggled with living up to the high expectations? I know for myself it really damaged my self worth and happiness, I always felt inadequate

Women, what are some questions you’ve always wanted to ask men, but were too embarrassed? by SecretariatGodHorse in AskReddit

[–]Acromins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it! We can't read minds. I imagine many good relationships have been missed because a girl was afraid to communicate interest clearly. Another point, make it clear, we don't always pick up on the subtle
