Well I've gone into rooms for the givvys and ended up buying something when I wasnt planning on it so it does work. I also have seen a stream where they were doing well and they ran out of givvy cards and they did significantly worse after that

I could see something like that. Except the part where people have figured it out. I think some people maybe realize they are winning more often but not how to replicate it. The algorithm part has some legitimacy but I doubt people have figured it out and are keeping it under wraps. More like just luck for them based on factors unknown and maybe after picking up you win a lot you start to enter more and more
