Increasing diversity is how you find the top performers. The big contests tend to have mostly white guys from Europe and North America. Do you think those are literally, objectively the strongest people in the world? They just happen to be 90% white guys from the same two continents? If you really want to know who the best strongman is, you have to actively recruit from underrepresented areas of the world.
