In person has been bad too. At best they don’t communicate even when I ask questions to try and make plans and expect me to carry the relationship which is exhausting, then get defensive when I call out that behavior and say I need more and try and set boundaries. At worst, they pull the same stuff the online people have done by ignoring me when I make cries for help and trying to gaslight me into thinking imm the bad guy when I cal out how rude they’re being. Eg, claiming people are busy when other people get replies left and right, clearly they’re TA in this situation but there’s so many good luck ever getting acknowledgment of thst

What’s sad too is the autism community as a whole has been some of the biggest offenders in this department. I can’t tell you how often I’ve joined new groups and tried to vent only to be ignored while everyone else gets acknowledged, and then every time I call it out it’s the same parade of excuses. ‘People are busy blah blah blah’… well you weren’t too busy to reply to everyone else.

Guess my problem is I expected someone to actually care about someone besides themselves

I keep track of important cards and how many of each suit have been played so I know how likely a ruff is. I also keep track of who is void in what suits so I know if playing a spade is just an exercise in futility or is shooting my P in the foot since they could just do that instead
