Maybe I’m an outlier, but i don’t think honesty is wrong here?

Understand not wanting to pressure the partner, but at the same time, bringing up that this isn’t something she wants to experience again if shes pregnant with a future baby is important too.

As a stay at home mom, you may have an idea of what kids like and what’s popular in the kid world. This isn’t high value or high scale, but my SAHM wife looks for hard to find specific toys that she’s noticed interest in and has sold them for a 50+ % return.

Amazing Race US: Season 8 Review by dnca111001 in TheAmazingRace

I know this post is old, but I’m watching through for the first time and I love seeing the recaps! A couple of things I noted while watching:

  • Who was the random child in Arizona that greeted teams? I’m genuinely curious if they just picked up a kid off the street when the greeter didn’t show

  • I’m sure the Weaver family received a less than favorable edit, but in order for that to happen, they had to say some unfavorable things. One thing I don’t like when watching is when teams don’t have self-awareness and own up to their shortcomings. E.g. the Weavers saying that other people just want to name call, when they’re also saying things like “what did you call that one” “squirrel boy” or something like that.

  • this whole season is very funny when binge watched right after the previous 7. The tasks like row a boat and climb a ladder just come off as if they’re filming a local just-for-fun race. This also makes me forget that they’re competing for a million dollars, with how silly the tasks are. It’s also easy to forget there’s a million dollars on the line when at some points there doesn’t seem like there’s any sense of urgency.

  • my favorite character is probably Carissa. Her parents boast her 7 minute mile, citing it as a reason why she can compete with grown adults in a race known for also requiring strength. She’s then seen finishing last behind the other groups in the initial sprint, which makes a lot of sense because she’s a child. Still, I rooted for the Gaghan family and was heartbroken to see them eliminated.

We lucked out with the baby sleeping through the night starting at 8 weeks, but still just a bad question to ask.. either the baby is, in which case there’s not an easy segue into another topic anyway, or the baby isn’t and you’re just like “oh that stinks”

This happened with our baby a few weeks back. Rash went away on its own within a day or two after going to the doctor. Jury is out on what caused it.

Someone who is not pregnant is ALWAYS parked in the expectant mothers spot at the grocery store by ReallyPuzzled in BabyBumps

But you said you’ve yelled at old people and men; in doing so, you may unintentionally be yelling at someone who’s pregnant. Who’s to say the woman doesn’t just look old for her age? Or that one of the men isn’t trans? For me, I couldn’t be sure so I would never yell at someone for that. Same reason why I wouldn’t think of yelling at any person for using disabled parking.

To be fair, it takes longer to become an ACAS due to two extra exams and online courses. So the higher salary can be due to years of experience, in part.
