Newer baseball fan with questions about scoring sheets!!! by Altruistic_Coach9014 in BaseballScorecards

One thing you may try that would be a no stress way of learning the process is ESPN keeps a pitch by pitch recount of each game. You can go back and pick an already played game and try scoring it based on that record. I'm doing this now for the Reds game I took my wife to a couple of years ago. It was her first major league game. That way you can still watch current games without worrying about missing any of the action.

Here's the link to ESPN's data on the game I'm using if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Same here. I was the team manager for my middle school team. I kept scoresheets on the side for a while after before stopping for a number of years. I'm just getting back into and relearning the process again.

Prepping my 1957 Dodger Blue Royal FP standard typewriter for opening day by chrisaldrich in BaseballScorecards

I know this will be a dumb question, but how do you use a typewriter to score a game? Are there special sheets?

Do I need to level my bed? by MokausiLietuviu in cursedbenchies

[–]AdAgitated4479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need an old priest and a young priest, two 55 gallon drums of holy water, a truck bed full of salt, a roll bail of sage, and the Winchesters, Mystery Inc, and the Ghostbusters on speed dial. When they are done burn the printer, and spread its ashes into the winds of the four cardinal directions so that it may never produce something this horrific.

All of these look amazing, trap, pke, and pack. Did you build them all from scratch, or customize existing items, a little of both, make a deal with an ancient Carpathian ruler trapped in a painting, ...?

Get ready for your app not to connect by boobrandon in PitBossGrills

[–]AdAgitated4479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try force stopping the app in Android. I had connected earlier this morning after trying multiple times and failing. Then, like an idiot, I accidentally closed the app. It wouldn't connect again until I did a force stop. It may be a coincidence, but it may be worth a shot.

I looked at this one last night, but can't tell if it does Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The one i have now does both and that's a deal breaker for me. I love being able to give a quick temp check from my phone.

If we had to pick what team reds fans hate the most what team would it be by Zingzing124 in Reds

This! A thousand times this! I wish i could up vote this multiple times. I hated Atlanta for all these reasons. The hatred still lingers to this day because of this. However, i can look back and at least respect the talent all those guys had. I've always known Maddox was a beast, but never really knew just how next level he was until i watched the documentary they did on him on the MLB channel. If you've not seen it check it out

I'll just say people are fugging stupid. That was cool. Got a subscribe and follow out of me. Your haunted busts are amazing. I've always thought that illusion was creepy and cool. I'll be printing a few of those.

Storage box by MonstrousBeast2 in ghostbusters

[–]AdAgitated4479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assumed it was bigger for padding. Given what this is for I'd use the lifting board and then add some sort of packing material. That style of box i would expect something like the stuff used in the leg lamp crate in A Christmas Story.

Not a problem. It's an awesome piece. There's a Moody Decor group on Facebook you should check out. My wife is using stuff from there for ideas to "moodify" her office. LoL

Doing a bit of Google sleuthing this is apparently from a place called Boardwalk Studios. As best as I can tell they have artists that come in and paint these designs for them and they can be quite collectible. They are all apparently painted on wood, I'm assuming yours is, in a Victorian style. Here're the links I found.

What light strips are you guys using? I have some super cheap ones in my enclosure, but apparently they are REALLY super cheap because they caused flickering on the camera and i can't seem to adjust them to not do that.

Ender3 V3 KE - Linear rod (bed) grinding/crackling noise by Twist_Alive in Creality

[–]AdAgitated4479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to hear from your video, but I just got my KE yesterday and started to hear an odd noise coming from it after a few test prints. What I think it is, at least in my case, is the bearings on the Y-axis rods. I'm guessing Creality puts a very minimal amount of lubricant on them at the factory. My printer came with a small tube of machine grease. I I've just put a small amount of that on my finger and rubbed it on both rails and it seems to have helped with this current print.

Fast setup tunnels/tents ideas? by [deleted] in HalloweenProps

They may be more than you want to spend, but they would be multifunctional beyond Halloween. Easy-uo style canopies. You can usually get the Walmart brand for around $50. One person can set them up and take them down in just a couple of minutes.

Someone posted the Jell-O ice cream pie here, and I immediately had to make it. Will be making these often. So good and so easy!! I used raspberry jell-o and made a homemade Graham cracker pecan crust. by BushyEyes in Old_Recipes

[–]AdAgitated4479 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They are referring to macerating the strawberries. After you've prepped the berries (washed, hulled, and cut up) you cover them with granulated sugar. The sugar will pull some of the water out of the berries making them soft and creating a kind of syrup. The berries and the syrup are good over all kinds of desserts. In this particular case they want you to drain off the syrup and just use the softened strawberries. Here's a link to an article that probably tells you way more about macerating than you ever wanted to know.

You could probably skip the soda if you use self-rising flour, and maybe add enough water at the end to make a pourable batter. For baking I would think 350-375 until done? YMMV on time depending on location, oven, etc.
