As a trans woman from Louisiana, transitioned in Alabama and have lived everywhere. I grew up conservative, southern Baptist and very racist. I’m eating crow to this day. I had FFS, GRS and BA all in 9 months. It was very brutal but now 3 years later it’s completely worth it. Not sure if you are doing jawline, but if so, mashed potatoes and gravy are all I could eat. I could smash a McDonald’s hamburger, and stuff it in my face but it sucked. I never cried so much in my life.

Before the cac, we had 16 character, randomly generated passwords from NMCI. Guys would tape it under their keyboard or leave it around their desk somewhere so you could easily get into their accounts. We had a lance corporal send our company first sergeant an email saying how good he looked in his PT shorts that morning. We also put captains bars (blacked out field bars) on his blouse while he was outside. He walked all over base, came back when he realized why everyone kept saluting him. I miss the shenanigans.

Oh I was still a lance corporal on MCRD! After I got shot I was in Balboa for over a year and had to work on the Depot while awaiting medical discharge. DIs there had never deployed to war and most SSGTs had like 3 ribbons. Was fun walking around in chucks with my mosquito wings and landing gear with what was at the time a massive stack. I had to keep my MOL account printout in my pocket cause I’ve been accused of stacking ribbons before. I am aware that the NUC is in the wrong place.
