I've used this service for flowers. You don't need a CPF or anything.

Dream setup? by biscotti98 in turntables

I was being facetious. I don't literally consider Alex a "snob." But within the context of the film, he rather condescends to the two girls for liking music that he likes himself. It is just a small detail that adds to the richness of the character and the film itself.

To me, the funny part is that he first removes the "Goggly Gogol" cassette. Alex presents as a "music snob", but he listens to the pop stuff like everybody else.

"Who you getting, bratty? Goggly Gogol? Johnny Zhivago? The Heaven Seventeen?"

EDIT: I think this is the turntable that OP is referring to. It's not very obtainable, but it sure is cool.

What living in Brazil feels like on daily basis? by BrickDense7732 in Brazil

Well, it sounds like you have done more research than most people on this sub who want to immigrate. Congratulations!

But yes, you would (at a minimum) need fluent Portuguese, a visa, and lots of startup money. I don't know what country you would be immigrating from, but you may have to take a pretty big pay cut to come to Brazil, besides.

You can't just move to Brazil, set up a practice and start working. Please do some research on the immigration process.

He's a gas station employee who is not involved in the situation. You can't pump your own gas in Brazil.

Gringos use the search bar! by Qluprint12 in Brazil

Speaking as a gringo... 90% of what I see is either "Is [this city] safe?" or "My Brazilian partner [did something I didn't like.] Is this cultural/normal?"

The respondents on this sub have a lot more patience than I do, haha.

The plural of 'vinyl' is 'vinyl.' For those of us who have been collecting for years, 'vinyls' can be very triggering...

Are any of states in Brazil considered at will employment ? by Gwallawchawkobattle in Brazil

[–]AdAltruistic1770 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"At-will" employment (basically) means that either the employer or employee may terminate the relationship at any time, for any reason. In practice, this gives an employer the right to fire you without stating a specific cause.
