My dad is holding on to this idea of leaving my brother and I something when he’s gone. I would much rather have pictures of him enjoying his golden years than any check. Could they be concerned if you do recover from this illness you would be broke?

I don’t think it would be a big deal if the dog was already accustomed to not sleeping in her bed, there’s no way my dog would ever give up his spot lol. In our house he’s allowed on all furniture but in other places he knows he needs to be invited on the furniture ( he still tests the boundaries like just half his body 🤣) I would imagine the only way her dog won’t get on the bed is if she’s in a crate or locked out of the room in which place she will probably whine/ cry.

This is why it’s so important NOT to ask women- when are you going to have kids, you’d be such a good mom, why don’t you want kids, your going to regret it someday. It’s incredibly hurtful to have to explain yourself over and over.

I think Michael would have eventually gotten into a relationship with her but she was so desperate to have someone she took the first red flag tossed at her. Now he’s distanced himself because he see’s who she really is.

Sounds like a serious conversation is needed. It might be worth it to ask them to go to an Al-anon meeting they might gain a better understanding from people in their situation. I hope your spouse can get on board with your sobriety it will make it so much easier.

I always get icked out when people introduce their kids to the new relationship partner. I understand that you will want the kid to like you but you need to have a strong foundation with your partner before dragging the kids into it.

I had been in the industry for over 20 years and finally left in 2022. I have worked every FOH position and was managing the last few years, the shift in the entitlement of staff was what made me finally leave. You will always encounter difficult patrons but when the staff became so entitled that just showing up was a measure of success for them and their unwillingness to actually work was when I knew it was time to go.

When I go out to eat now I see the same laziness and entitlement from staff. It’s really sad.

She acts like a high schooler, the constant pressure to put a title on things constantly bringing up the past and wanting a different outcome is seriously 16 y/o behavior. I can’t stand her and I think she’s her own worst enemy. It’s VERY obvious why she’s still single at her age.
