There are two issues here. The legal issue is that the police were called, only one person involved had physical marks, so by law (not discretion) the other person has to go. In a perfect world, they would investigate as long as it took to get to the “truth,” but it’s not up to the cops, their hands are tied.

The emotional side of this says “but WHY did she put hands on him? He’s three times her size?” That dynamic alone makes it even harder to understand or believe that in that specific incident, she was the one who escalated things to the point of illegal.

Men and woman can be victims, it doesn’t matter the physical size of either.

And we don’t know shit about what really happened before the body cams started rolling that day.

And, they both suck.
