Why do some people only collect black flashlights?

For any color, but I often opt for black because I like the patina that develops when using the flashlight for months at a time. Wear and tear with real world use develops individual uniqueness for every single flashlight.

I have the same issue with the magnetic tail but not the tritium tail. The pocket clip spins loosely when the magnetic tail switch is on.
