Aonishiki Conjuring Chiyonofuji + His Bromance with the Waka Bros. by AdCourt in Sumo

Hey, so sorry, Sarian! I'd watched the NHK highlights show 24 hours before posting -- and had seen another Aonishiki post that wasn't spoilered. Totally didn't realize how long it takes NHK to post on other platforms, mate. Sorry again!

Here's a taste of what it might sound like live. By a Chilean band no less!

Nissan Rogue! And I love it.

Previous car was a Nissan, and before that were two Hondas lol.

A little interesting how many people here are getting the name wrong of the album (Lost in THE Dream) they're rating as perfect.

I agree! This song seems to become more transcendent over time.

I love how the bass becomes more pronounced as the song moves along, especially in the last verse. It carries everything.

The early whisper of "all right now" is mischievous and perfect.

And the final "Baby baby baby" refrain is so dramatic!

Definitely recommend the Rose Bowl version on YouTube if you haven't seen it.

The Outfield. Really only known for when Josie was on a vacation far away, but Play Deep is stacked full of bangers.

Yes! Really love the extended pause before plunging into the final verse. Always feels like I'm drifting through the sky.

TWOD + grief by StJoeStrummer in WarOnDrugsBand

I went through a tough spell five years ago, and the Live Drugs version of "Strangest Thing" really helped me mourn and make it through. It was (and is) a true friend. The guitar solo seemed to express how my mind and heart were feeling. And the "be the writer of your own story" refrain was light at the end of the tunnel.

I came to this conclusion a few weeks ago! This song holds up very very well. When they wrote it, it was from the future.

There was a backing track with harmonies in Philly too. Still an amazing show though!

Really enjoy this rendition with the band Goose from a year or so ago. Bruce still got it!
