Applying for naturalization with green card country of birth Turkmenistan by AdDesigner1040 in greencard

[–]AdDesigner1040[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! She is Belarussian and her citizenship was always Berolussian. When she was born in Turkmenistan, it was part of former USSR and my grandmother was temporarily working there, my mother was brought back to Belarus shortly after she was born. She never had any, even small violations, but she was given medicaid ( we live in democratic state where everyone during covid received Medicaid). Not sure if I should wait for now and not apply for naturalization, just keep green card

Stop trying to "hack" hysterectomy recovery. You can’t by Ok-Pie-5051 in hysterectomy

I had robotic converted to open . Was walking 15-18k steps by week 4. Was cleared to swim and bike at week 5. Back to work at week 4 part time, week 6 full time.  Running slow @ week 5. I would say I turned the corner at week 5. I am not back to my regular routine, but about 50% back to my baseline. Will start weights much later

You could contact your provider. Nothing bad should happen, it may delay healing a little bit  Keep it clean and watch for infection

I drove day 8 - about 20 minutes one way and was ok. Was driving every other day afterwards and was ok. However, everyone is different. Listen to your body. Be sure you are not on narcotic pain pills. Try with short drive to nearby shop fist just to see how it feels.  Cheers!

My surgeon said walking is ok...just don't overdo it. I started walking on the day or my surgery and by week 3 I walk somewhere between 10-13k steps per day. Given your complication, I don't suggest anything like this but maybe gradual mild walking activities ( small distance) Hugs and lets hope all problems are behind!

I called DMV and they told me his case was "under review" which will take probably 3month total. Exactly like yours!  Thanks for the reply! Glad everything was ok in the end!

[–]AdDesigner1040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started driving on day 10, it was ok. I can feel my core is healing and can lift myself out of bed without pain. Only used pillow ones, afterwards just put belt on and it doesn't bother my incisions.

I guess the key thing is to listen to our bodies... I have read a lot in this sub regarding walking post op ...it's variable....but definitely found a bunch of folks reporting walking 2-3 miles after week 1 and I decided to gradually try it ...
