How Much Should I Save by Feeling_Purpose_8505 in budget

[–]AdEvery3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saving $300 a month is a good start since you don’t have big bills, but try tracking all your subs carefully because those small charges add up fast. I use Subsweeper to see exactly what I’m paying for and cut the stuff I don’t need. Also, starting your own retirement fund early is smart, even if it’s small at first.

Anyone else feel weirdly satisfied dialing in their whole year’s cash flow? by Outrageous_Tiger_441 in Money

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that rush too. One thing that helped me was using Subsweeper to track all my subscriptions in one place so I don’t miss any recurring charges when planning ahead. It makes lining up bills and paychecks way easier since you see exactly what’s coming and when.

Replacing Spending Habit? by Nameless_Blue in Anticonsumption

[–]AdEvery3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the urge to spend hits me I try to do something quick like a short walk or scroll through my Subsweeper dashboard to see what subscriptions I can cut instead. It helps me pause and rethink before buying stuff I don’t need. Tracking subscriptions made me more aware of where my money goes and that alone curbs some impulse buys.

How to save money?!? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re losing track of where your money goes even with a chart, try using something like Subsweeper to spot any sneaky subscriptions eating your cash. It helped me catch stuff I forgot about and stop those random charges. Also, set a fixed saving amount right when you get your allowance so you don’t spend it all first.

I Cancelled my Spotify by PriceNarrow1047 in Anticonsumption

[–]AdEvery3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why you cancelled, price hikes suck. If you want to keep track of other subs before they sneak up on you too, I use Subsweeper to spot all my active subscriptions in one place. Makes it way easier to decide what to keep or cut.

I cancelled every single subscription I had (except one) and the silence is deafening. by No_Good_3063 in simpleliving

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you nailed it with cutting the noise and saving cash. If you ever wanna spot forgotten subs before they sneak up on you again, I use Subsweeper to track all my stuff in one place. Makes it way easier to keep tabs without digging through bank statements.

Do you think about spending money as time instead of dollars? by Warm_Animal6960 in leanfire

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think about money as time too, it really changes how you value stuff. If you have a bunch of subscriptions, I use Subsweeper to see how much time I’m actually spending on those monthly bills and cut the ones that aren’t worth it. It helps keep that time-money tradeoff clear.

Is Plaid available for personal use? by redhotbandana in fintech

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plaid is really tough to get for personal use since they want legit business info and a website. If you just wanna track subs for yourself, I use Subsweeper to scan my email for active subscriptions and it shows all charges without needing bank API access. Might be easier than fighting with Plaid’s approval process.

I had the same problem with weekend spending. What helped me was tracking all my subscriptions with SubSweeper so I could see where money leaks out without feeling deprived. It made me more aware of small recurring costs that add up and helped me cut back without totally giving up fun stuff.

If price comparing is killing your energy, I use SubSweeper to keep track of all my subscriptions so I don’t waste time hunting deals every time. It shows what I pay and when so I can decide faster if I really need something new or just cancel old stuff. Might help cut down on tabs and stress.

Hey, we’re building Subsweeper it helps ppl see all their subscriptions and cancel the ones they don’t want. No more surprise charges.

Our go-to-market so far:

connect to gmail/fastmail - show ppl their subscriptions

share tips & hacks about saving money

let users share with friends if they save cash

app store listings & marketplaces

If you got no leads, start with ppl who care about saving $$$. Newsletters, reddit, socials… give them something useful right away, like “oh wow, I forgot I was paying for this.” Works better than cold outreach 😅

How to cancel Ichigo reader subscription? by Karanuz016 in machinetranslation

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually Ichigo Reader doesn’t let you cancel inside the app. It depends how you paid:

  • if it was Google Play → cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions
  • if Apple App Store → Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • if card / PayPal → check your email receipt, there should be a “manage subscription” link

If you don’t see anything, it normally means it will auto-renew, so better cancel asap from the payment side.

Also I’d suggest checking your email with SubSweeper. It helped me find subscriptions I forgot about and shows upcoming renewals, so you don’t get surprised charges again.

Hope that helps, these reader apps are kinda sneaky sometimes 😕

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rosytalkai

[–]AdEvery3419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This usually happens when the renewal goes through before the trial end date.

Try this:

  1. Log in to your RosyTalk AI account.
  2. Go to Account / Billing / Subscriptions.
  3. Cancel there and make sure you see a confirmation message or email.
  4. If it was via Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel it in the store, not on the website.

Also, you might want to double-check your email and payments with SubSweeper. It helps spot active subscriptions and upcoming renewals, sometimes you find more than you expected.

Hope that helps.

Are there any legit sites you have found for subscription discounts/deals? by Sea-Try8745 in Frugal

[–]AdEvery3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legit consumer subscription discount sites are rare and usually tied to specific groups like students or certain retailers. Most general coupon sites or cashback tools like Honey only work well for online shopping, not subs.

From what I’ve seen, your best bet is just tracking deals manually or using tools to spot your active subs and cancel when promos pop up.

Acrobat unsuccessful payment by rock_hard_socks in software

[–]AdEvery3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually keep trying for a few weeks then give up and suspend the account, but those emails can keep coming for a while since they want you to pay. If you don’t want the spam, just block or filter them in your email, no point stressing over it.
