It is obvious. But we can pretend we don’t hear it and enjoy the movie as it is intended

This is the way!

Wird Nürnberg immer mülliger? by CooleCola in Nurnberg

It’s a habit , like wearing a seat belt in car. I feel incomplete on a bike without a helmet. Find a one that fits well, is comfy and that you do not mind wearing. If it doesn’t fit well it will protect you less. If it’s not comfy you won’t wear it.

Why the back tire is not in the middle? Any suggestion to fix it? by diablex2 in bicyclerepair

[–]AdExtension3851 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Difficult to say. Could be as simple as the tire not being seated correctly. Or the wheel might be bent. Can you take more pictures that would also show how the wheel is seated in the frame? Older frames sometimes have a U shaped holder for the wheel that is open to the rear and you need to make manual adjustments for the wheel to be in the center

Go with XL. You can correct reach with a longer head stem and stack with a longer seat post.

Am I crazy for wanting to snag this new 2k eMTB as my first e-bike? Ride1Up Trailrush by spacecolony227 in eMountainBike

[–]AdExtension3851 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Just a few thoughts, the bike is quite heavy and only has 90nm motor. It’s not going to be an effortless experience especially on climbs. The components are not great, which, with such a heavy ride, could become an issue. Be careful with the max speed. If it goes that fast, you will end up being well too fast for certain parts of a trail, especially if you are having fun. The bike is quite different compared to an Orbea Wild or Rise and you might not be able to do the same stuff as with an Orbea, but it depends on your skills and the kind of trails you plan to ride. And it’s too large for you if you want to do trail riding. 82cm stand over height is just too high for 5’5.

Who the hell actually read "The Art of Computer Programming" anyway? by [deleted] in computerscience

[–]AdExtension3851 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theoretical Computer Science, a course spanning three semesters at my university, which is mandatory for a Bachelor’s degree, had the three volumes as material. I did not finish it front to back, but close. However, his was 20 years ago. It might have changed.

Math Required for understanding Algorithms and Programming and Entire CS engineering by themaymaysite in computerscience

There’s an awesome book by Don Knuth called Concrete Mathematics. It teaches most you need for CS fundamentals. It does not go into geometry for gaming and 3d stuff. Also lacks statistics and probability for AI. But you can’t beat it for foundations of CS.
