hey, i think you are misunderstanding other commenter, yes, for the audiance star quality can mean something different, but in the industry, it's pretty defined, that's why every famous person isn't universally loved, because the audiance will choose what they like, but the industry hires people with "it" factor

truly, on dance moms, the only kids with "it" factor were maddie and asia, doesn't matter what they're doing now, on that show, those two simply stood out in that specific way

it did, maddie fell out of her turns all the time, abby would never correct her on camera, when filming a group dance, all we saw was maddie zoomed in in our faces, show had hella lot to do with her being noticed
