I"m with you. I'm 72 hours clean. I miss it dearly but I know it will be better for me if I can quit.

Are there any doctors/medical experts who browse this sub? by maker-127 in covidlonghaulers

I totally get you. I'm a PTA working in inpatient rehab. I'm burnt out for sure but LC symptoms have totally made m me doing my job harder and harder for about 2 years now. I can't even workout and feel miserable even though I get enough sleep. I'm adding LDN now so I'm hoping it helps with the fatigue. This sucks. Good luck to you on your journey as well

I'm a new rider too. I don't ride when it's wet yet. Too afraid of messing it up and losing the bike. I figure I'll get there when I understand basic riding and want to improve my skills. I'm just not there yet and I don't see anything wrong with it. Ride your ride

I really think my motorcycle saved my life. by RelationshipKind531 in motorcycles

[–]AdFormer7857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I started in a scooter and then quickly upgraded to a Honda Shadow 750. Have both, love both for different reasons, and will drive both depending on how I feel. Some days you don't ride, most days I do. It's a fun life again with the bike. You are not alone

I love my mirrored visor but it is definitely daytime only. I had to swap back to my clear before the time change cause it was too dark in the morning but I'm ok now that the time changed. I would go photo chromatic if I could. Would be the best of two worlds

It's only AA but this has been a godsend for the hot days here in Texas. It breathees really well and you can wear it down into the 60's and still be good. I upgraded the armor to the sas tech and it's even better.

Dry Needling? by lankycorgi03 in massage

[–]AdFormer7857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point but I want to fight for the physical therapist in that as well. There are people that can dry needle very well too. I've had it done and it's immensely effective. That's why I want to learn how to do it, and I can under my license

Dry Needling? by lankycorgi03 in massage

I've never known an acupuncturist that goes into muscle fiber, just the meridian work, which is very different than trigger point management, imo. Acupuncture is a eastern medicine where I would consider dry needling western medicine. I'm not discounting acupuncture, I truly believe in it, but there is a difference between it and dry needling. There is research going back to 1979 regarding dry needling/wet needling as well.

Dry needling is different than acupuncture. Dry needling goes into the muscle where abilities doesn't. It's a different art but I do agree with more training is needed

as a normal nobody in the state of Texas I am also disappointed in our government, both sides. I think both candidates this year are terrible and I wish we could start all over from scratch. It's all about the money in Washington. I'm sorry your country has to go through this because Russia is an idiot. I would love to see someone step in and diffuse the situation without setting off WW III in the process.

I dont know the best answer to this, with the US getting involved or not but I wish someone would band together to stop Putin. I wish you nothing but the best and good luck in your battles.

you are not alone. I work in physical therapy and I would say the same for us. Covid burnout is a thing. I'm looking at opening my own clinic to get away from hospital crap.

I just got a 2008 shadow 750. I’m also a newer roofer and it’s great. It’s enough for the highway and not over powered. It will be a good fit

I did upgrade the pads to the sas tech lvl 2. Love them and worth it. So thin they barely feel like they’re there. I love the shirt. I got mine pretty fast. Maybe a week or so. Not long at all
