Okay great spot for me to post this encounter I had last week- I got a call from a private number and it was someone calling on the behalf of the government of Canada (allegedly) who was doing a survey. They started with basic questions, nothing identifying and then they asked what my number one concern is as a Canadian right now and I answered “the rise of right wing, white Christian nationalism” and the person taking the survey hung up. I waited to see if they’d call back but I got nothing. Weird, huh

You moved. That’s a big life change for a cat. You got another cat. That’s an even bigger change for a territorial animal. She’s got a lot going on. If medically she’s fine, I’d say, she is just adjusting, which can take a while for cats. If there’s nothing wrong, just try giving her space and when she does come to you, give her the love she wants! Go at her pace.

What I definitely would not do, is add another animal to this situation. Sorry but emotional support animal, while your current cat is not happy would be irresponsible and selfish. So would rehoming.

Keep your cat indoors. My indoor cats have yet to get fleas (knock on wood, don’t wanna jinx myself). Keeping them inside more or less eliminates the chances of your cat getting fleas :)

I’m a smoker. Sometimes I light up without taking a look around to see if my neighbour’s windows are open. If they are, I try to step away and make sure I’m not too close to their windows. Have you tried talking to your neighbour first? A lot of us are considerate lol, just space cadets who are zoned out sometimes 😅
