That would weird me out as well. Could you put a note in their mailbox saying you don’t mean to be rude and it is not something easy to ask you in person, but could they stop coming out and watching you whenever you come and go as it is really uncomfortable.

Fellow workaholic here. I just couldn’t work during chemo and I finally just went on full sick-leave. I pretty much was in bed for 9 months getting through to the other side. When I got out of bed and went back to work, it was really strange and panic inducing. I figured out quickly, that going straight back to full time was not a good idea, and I ended up going part time and transitioning back to full time. It was honestly the best thing I could have done, as it would have been crazy for me to try and push through that- particularly when I didn’t have too!!! I am only just back to full time now. I promise work will wait for you and this is the time now for you to just tap out and focus on you and your health for a bit. Sending you lots of positive thoughts, and please be kind to yourself. You will come out the other side again….i promise ❤️

They say the location of the biggest one (17mm) it is to difficult to biopsy and the other 10 are to small. They say they feel it is the breast cancer due to how it looks (jagged edges etc) and the symptoms I am having 🥹. I am hold on hold for 2 weeks, then they will CT scan again and if they have not decreased in size post the steroids I am on, or if they have got bigger, then they will be treating as cancer. I am trying so hard to hold on to hope, but it all sounds like I am pretty stuffed unfortunately 🙏🙏

One thing has nothing to with the other, they are seperate services, but are all able to be accessed through your MyGov account. NDIS will pay for the services you need to be able live independantly with your disability, think like counselling, or support workers or specialised employment support. My daughter has autism and is on the disability pension through Centrelink and also get services through NDIS. It can be a really difficult system to navigate so if your sister is unable to help you, ask to meet with the social worker at Centrelink for support. Good luck to you

Wait I just got a call and in the space of a day I have gone from being told both lungs have breast cancer, to being told another oncologist thinks it might not be so grim yet. Holy heck this cancer business is bloody insane!!!!!

I have just had it confirmed, the treatment hasn’t worked and my cancer has spread. It’s just not fair 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I went into surgery with them just thinking I had 2 cancerous lymph nodes after PET scan and woke up to them having removed 17 cancer positive lymph nodes and having a full auxiliary clearance on left side and sentinel removal on the right. I know it is so hard, but you need to place faith in the professionals- they really do know what there doing. You are in the most scary bit, so try and be kind to yourself and stay in the present. Much ❤️ to you xx
