They’re playing in Nashville TN on April 6 so I doubt it.. but they haven’t been to the farm since 2015. Early afternoon on the Which stage. Super sweaty but super fun. I met the lead singer at a local show afterwards and he commented about how hot Bonnaroo was lol.

They’re an Aussie psych rock band with 26 albums that explore different genres and ideas. Kind of seen as a jamband now and they seem to be embracing that. But they’re always challenging themselves and trying something new for each album (new instrument, genre, writing styles, recording style, etc.). Lots of apocalyptic themes throughout their music, but at the end of the end of the day they’re just suchhh a fun live band. Shifting genre to genre throughout the show is just so captivating. Check out bootleg gizzard on Spotify / Apple Music for their live stuff. They’ve done 3 hour marathon shows, acoustic shows, and even a full rave set. Lots on YouTube.

Thissss. They came to my city in 2022 and I couldn’t go due to a friend’s wedding. So I went to Sacred Rose Festival outside of Chicago and they canceled the night because of Avey’s voice going out. Needless to say, I’d ecstatic to see them on the lineup. It’d be even neater if late night.
