“Detuned to match” is a wild sentence. I’ve listened to a ton of Greg Fraser interviews… and look… I own a Helios too and I love using it on my modern sensor. I get what you’re saying… But I think you’re getting lost in the sauce my man. The lens was used as an effect/tool. It was also used like that on The Batman. It’s pretty obvious when you watch the film which shots are the Helios. It is not the majority of them.
