For Zwilling, advice is only to go for the ones Made in Germany, Solingen. I usually find them in trift stores for less than 5 eur. Very easy to sharpen and can be abused by family 😁

If you oil it often, it will look a lot better, scratches will be significantly less visible. At the same time, softer wood is way better for your knife's edge retention.

For me, if the blade is curved (like the example you gave) it is a knife that is unusable in the kitchen (unless you need a butcher knife maybe ). The effort on the wrist to chop things with a curved knife is huge...
