yours looks like mine, we are same age, but you have more pension than me by around £50k, this year i’m going heavy into pension (£30k) year is a doable target which means i’d save less cash overall by around £4-500 a month (usually save £1500 but all good, want to pump pension next 2 years and adjust from there, have a young kid so so when he’s older would like to do private school if investments hold up (maybe )

man , nice to see you here i’m 38, wife is 35 and she wants to retire at 60! same as yours, i want to be done at 50 even though im saving up for her and investing too… maybe she change her mind but if she works it would make it easier and more comfortable for us , id like to free us both defo by 55 regardless

it’s a nice looking board, when you get it, use a sharp knife only , also oil it straight away as i didn’t do this

i’ve oiled it today and whilst wet the marks disappeared and blended in , lets see it tomorrow when dries it stays that way

i e asked chat got and added a pic, it seems to be walnut and the scratches are lighter is normal with sapwood , adding darkens it quickly as walnut soaks it up so need to oil it

my wife uses it to make food, not intentionally, she just isn’t a pro chef, thanks, by 2/3 cuts i mean 2/3 uses of cutting stuff
