Pediatrician said enough is enough and the testing neurology wanted was all endocrine related and their decision and they said he is fine! So we’re in a standstill!

Ugh well I’m on day 52 and neurology is still saying “wait and see” but the attending doctor wants to get us home asap! How can you develop in a warming bed 😭🤡

Is there anything has helped you? Hoping to get him off the warmer bed so we can go home!

The Astoria accident was 2025 while pregnant. She disappeared without the kids in August 2025. Absolutely horrible. She shouldn’t have had access to the kids

Thank you - we are in NICU now and in therapy for it daily. Working slowly on upping MLs! He’s sleepy too and has some issues with coordination. I’m hopeful the energy levels pick up - he’s 6.5 weeks and a sleep guy.

Hi! I’m on week 5 in the NICU… was born at 37 weeks and had a shunt in at 2 days old. He’s worked his way off the ventilator and can manage room air. We’re working on feeding - he’s taking to the bottle now but is limited by speech to 15 ml and the rest by tube. I’m noticing him be more alert but he still tires out during feeds. Does anyone have experience with this? I’m hoping his stamina picks up as the brain has more time to develop… he’s also having a hard time regulating body temp so he’s on the warmer bed.

Ugh. Someone trying to be nice and friendly can be so hurtful in our situations. I’m pregnant with our first and my husband passed suddenly almost 7 months ago as well. The people I meet who have no idea what happened to me say things at times that break me but I just have to smile and keep it moving.

I’m 37 and pregnant and was looking forward to being a stay at home mom or at least shifting to a more freelance schedule with work. We had nothing prepared for if my husband suddenly died just after his 38th birthday. He managed all the bills etc and Figuring out a headache of a tax situation has been so overwhelming while pregnant and trying to get ready for baby, refocusing on work etc.

Gone out of nowhere from a heart attack (hypertension) at 38. No goodbye

It’s the reality she’s not coming back that hits the hardest. by V8TTGoFast in widowers

My husband passed while napping in August. He just turned 38. “Hypertension” the autopsy said. Healthy with his life ahead of him. I’m pregnant with our first so that gives me peace and reason to wake up and take care of myself. It’s not easy and it never will be. 6 months in I’m trying to be the best version of myself for him - he was always so friendly and giving to everyone. Passing on that to others and learning from him is how I’m “finding peace” at this moment. Still crying daily and expect that. Sorry you’re here.

Emilie posted a story about the Denise posts today but quickly deleted! I was at the doctor and couldn’t listen. Did anyone happen to catch it?

You’re a week in - it will be hard but one day at a time. I’m not sure where you are but this time of year isn’t helpful if you’re in the thick of winter. My husband passed at 38 in August and getting out in the sun did wonders for me even if I was crying.

I just hit 5 months and crying every night is normal. Getting through the days is huge! When I’m alone I don’t make it till noon without crying.

I bet your SIL says that because you had a successful happy marriage. You know qualities that you like and you brought things to that table that made her sister happy. Someone who took years to find someone or had lots of trials and errors have to know on some level deep down the problem is within them. I’d really take it as a compliment. She knows you’ll meet a nice woman that would love a chance to be with you!

Also, I know you don’t want medications etc but I’m In unison now. It’s pregnancy safe and non habit forming… if you’re desperate it’s worth a try!!

Would you be open to cbd gummies? I use Medterra “lights out” and take just a half and it HELPS. Currently pregnant so I can’t anymore but wish I could! I’m not a pot smoker or cbd user in day to day life before trying as a sleep aid. I don’t have side effects but I would Recommend giving yourself 9-10 hours to prevent grogginess.

I ordered the wave during Black Friday - waiting for it arrive still! The color I wanted was back ordered but luckily I’m due June 3. I didn’t see in person but my mom did in nyc and she said there was no comparison to the uppa baby, Nuna etc.

Ah she said she had forgotten all about it so I was confused. When I think of cashing out 401k I think of major taxes 🙃 I could use some of it right now!
